Without an advertising budget, Impact Sports Technologies launched a fitness new product, the Power Glove. We needed to generate awareness and drive sales entirely through media relations.

Vanguard Media Group pitched target fitness, women’s and healthy lifestyle publications. We focused on the product’s core values: ease to use, multi-functional technology. Key reporters received sample gloves and the president of Impact Sports was on-call for personal demonstrations.
We received regular media hits. Each story led to web spikes and increased sales. Without spending a dime on advertising, we generated $350,000 in publicity value through credible media reviews in publications such as Women’s World and Shape Magazine. Following our efforts, 25 percent of company sales can be traced back to editorial placements.
