The Huntsman Cancer Institute, a $1-billion endowed non-profit focused on developing
treatments and medical advancements to delay and eventually cure cancer - needed
to market its services, expertise, and availability to cancer patients within
the western region.
SOLUTION |
Huntsman Cancer Institute hired Vanguard Media Group to develop a comprehensive
marketing and communications campaign, focusing on several fronts:
- Developing a brand for the Institute.
- Developing a plan for patient recruitment and education and marketing
to patients.
- Developing and implementing a marketing plan to raise funds for the
Institute.
- Promoting the activities, contributions, and existence of Huntsman
Cancer Institute to its community and the nation.
RESULTS |
Vanguard Media Group worked with Huntsman Cancer Institute for over three
years, and developed and nationally launched its facility, brand, and patient
care initiatives. Following our engagement, Dr. Joseph Simone, head of
clinical care, agreed to form a consulting firm with Vanguard Media Group
to continue to leverage our experience and capabilities in marketing and
educating the public on cancer care and opportunities for treatment - and
working with hospitals to develop quality cancer care programs. The practice
group, Simone Consulting, provides communications and consulting services
to hospitals and educational facilities across the nation.
