CHALLENGE |
To re-brand a group of state agencies into a cohesive brand and organization through a strategic communication's approach to support job development and employment in Nevada.

SOLUTION |
Based on the research we developed a new name and logo for the agency, created a strategic communications plan and a comprehensive multi-media campaign. Currently, Nevada JobConnect, is coming off of an overwhelmingly successful campaign comprised of print, television and radio. Nevada JobConnect has launched a statewide direct mail campaign targeting business owners and teamed with Nevada State Bank to distribute information pertaining to the project and how it works. The overall purpose and goal of the brand is to not only saturate the public with its presence, but to elevate their top of mind awareness by always associating Nevada JobConnect with either the logo and the tag - Start Here. Thus, the purpose of the logo is to serve as their identity and mission statement, Nevada JobConnect helps connect people with jobs in Nevada.

RESULTS |
Our second round of research shows consumer awareness of Nevada JobConnect at 90% and business awareness at 75%. The Nevada JobConnect web site started in March of 2002 is now receiving over one million visitors each month. All stand-alone locations have reported an increase in overall foot traffic. The journey from vague government entity to friendly and helpful job placement resource was successfully traversed by consumers and business owners.
